IT Life: Week 2 1/21-1/25

This week I did a lot of software installations on various platforms. One of these projects included installing Windows Media Player on the instrucotr computers in all of the classrooms on the second floor of the university. David later showed me how to install and configure WSUS onto one of the test servers in the IT room. I also responded to a couple work orders, one of which had me installing VLC media player onto a couple faculty members Macbooks. After installing the program, I showed them how to use it. For the other work order, I had to go to the library and create a desktop shortcut to a program that resides on the Tlelax server.
